How much Hub pays per recorded hour

The real math on what you can earn: rate per approved hour, milestone bonuses, referral commission and what eats into it along the way.

Rate per recorded hour

Hub pays per approved recording hour. The current range:

Task typeRate per hour
Regular task$5
Boosted task$6

The word that decides everything is approved. An hour recorded outside the technical standard does not count. That is why your effective rate per hour of effort dips at the start, while you get the framing right, and climbs once the routine is automatic.

Milestone bonuses

MilestoneReward
1 hour≈ $3 bonus
2 hoursPrize draw ticket
5 hours≈ $2 bonus
10 hoursPrize draw ticket
20 hoursPrize draw ticket
40 hoursPremium Collector status
50 hours≈ $10 bonus
75 hoursMonthly iPhone draw ticket
100 hoursPremium head strap
200 hoursMonthly iPhone draw ticket

Notice the cash bonuses cluster at the start — the first hour pays a bonus worth more than the hour itself. That is deliberate design to break inertia. Prize draws are not income; keep them out of your planning.

Referral commission

  • Level 1: about $0.50 per approved hour from everyone you invite.
  • Level 2: about $0.25 per approved hour from the people they invite.
  • No cap on invites.

Ten invites recording 10 hours a month pay you about $50 monthly without you recording anything. It is recurring while they record — and drops to zero when they stop.

How the payout works

  • Minimum: about $5.
  • Methods: vary by country.
  • Average time: 1 to 2 days.
  • Prerequisite: identity verified in the portal.

Cash out the first time you hit the minimum. It tests the full cycle before you invest dozens of hours — the only way to answer for yourself whether the platform is legit.

What actually cuts into your earnings

  • Rejections. The biggest loss. Vertical framing, a hand out of frame or weak light zeroes the hour.
  • Currency. Rates are in dollars; your local currency moves between recording and cashing out.
  • Setup time. Mounting the strap, picking a task and uploading the file are not paid hours.
  • Data. Uploading half an hour of 1080p eats a mobile plan — prefer Wi-Fi.
  • Taxes. Depending on volume and country there is a filing obligation. Confirm with an accountant.

Rates, bonuses, currencies and methods are set by Hub and can change without notice. The numbers on this page reflect conditions observed in August 2026 — check the current table inside your account.
